How a MoDisc works
Build your drop kit
Cover art, gallery, teaser video, tracklist, unlockables, holder perks, edition size, price, and payout splits — all in one wizard.
Connect your wallet
Only when you flip the NFT switch. Wallet-connect is optional for regular releases — MoDisc drops route royalties to the address you sign in with.
Sell or redeem
Fans mint with a card (custodial wallet by email) or connect their own. Give out redeem codes at shows — every MoDisc unlocks perks automatically.
Built for artists, not crypto bros
Hero art + up to 6 gallery images, 30s teaser video, tracklist with preview flags, unlockables, holder perks, scarcity, mint window, physical redemption toggle, payout splits, mood tags.
Private channels, unreleased demos, video calls, signed merch, ticket pre-sales — unlocked by ownership without any manual list management.
MoDisc runs on the MO STREAMS master ERC-1155 contract. You own your edition, your metadata, and your royalties. Perpetual on-chain royalties on every secondary sale.
Fans pay with a card and we mint to a custodial wallet keyed to their email. Crypto-native fans can bring their own wallet — same drop, either flow.
Frequently asked
Do fans need a crypto wallet?+
No. Fans can pay with a card and we mint the MoDisc to a custodial wallet keyed to their email. Crypto-native fans can connect their own wallet for the same drop.
Do I need a wallet to publish a regular release?+
No. Wallet-connect only appears when you flip the MoDisc NFT switch inside the wizard. Regular releases don't touch web3 at all.
What chain does MoDisc run on?+
MoDisc uses the MO STREAMS master ERC-1155 contract on Base. Low fees, fast finality, and perpetual on-chain royalties on secondary sales.
Can I hand out MoDiscs at shows?+
Yes. Every drop can generate redeem codes you can print on flyers, QR cards, or vinyl inserts. Fans scan, claim, and unlock the perks instantly.
What about splits between artists, producers, and the label?+
The wizard has a payout-splits step. Add wallet addresses and percentages — every sale (primary and secondary) routes on-chain to those addresses automatically.
