How we keep MO Streams safe
These rules apply to fans, artists, labels, DJs, producers, and podcasters. Violations follow the enforcement ladder below.
Prohibited conduct
- Profanity, slurs, or hateful language in chat, comments, or DMs.
- Badmouthing other members, artists, labels, or staff.
- Sharing personal information (your own or someone else's) — phone numbers, email addresses, social-security/ID numbers, home addresses.
- Soliciting off-platform contact (WhatsApp, Telegram, Cash App, Venmo, etc.).
- Copyright infringement, including uploading music you do not own or have a license for.
- Payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or fake play / engagement schemes.
Enforcement ladder
- 1st violation — automatic warning. You'll see it in your notifications.
- 2nd violation — 14-day account suspension. You can sign in but cannot post, upload, or earn.
- 3rd violation — 30-day account suspension.
- 4th violation — permanent account ban. IP address may also be banned for repeat offenders.
Severe violations (copyright, fraud, sharing minors' personal info) may skip steps and result in immediate ban.
Funds after a ban
When an account is banned, any wallet balance is held for 30–60 days (default 45) while we review for fraud and chargebacks. If the balance clears review, it is released to your payout method. Balances linked to fraud or unresolved chargebacks may be forfeited.
Anti-capture deterrent
On sensitive pages (release wizard, royalty pages, private chats), MO Streams overlays a per-user watermark and blurs content when the window is hidden or out of focus. We also log capture-attempt signals to deter screenshots of unreleased material. This is a deterrent, not a guarantee — please respect other artists' work.
Appeals
Email support@mostreams.com with your handle, the action you're appealing, and any context. We respond within 5 business days.
